She keeps saying she made a three course meal for the interview but SHE DIDN’T she made TWO COURSES why do characters keep saying she made three courses when SHE CLEARLY ONLY MADE TWO WE SAW HER DO IT there was an entire scene where she presented the meal to the rich old woman who is blatantly in love with her butler AND SHE ONLY GAVE HER A MAIN COURSE AND A DESSERT THAT’S ALL SHE GAVE HER WE SAW IT HAPPEN THE SCENE LASTED A PAINFULLY LONG TIME AND THERE WERE ONLY TWO COURSES THERE WAS NO APPETISER SHE WENT STRAIGHT TO THE MAIN COURSE am I going mad is this what going mad feels like WHY DID NOBODY NOTICE THIS IN EDITING SHE ONLY MADE TWO COURSES it is impossible to focus on anything else so I missed about 10% of this movie unable to move on from the TWO COURSES THAT SHE CLEARLY MADE AND THE THIRD THAT SHE CLEARLY DID NOT and oh god keeps getting worse and the best friend takes the “friend who is unnervingly invested in the lead’s love life” to a level that borders on psychotic and it is genuinely quite creepy she might have an effigy in the basement made from the lead’s hair BUT I was fairly invested in hoping the rich aunt would just get together with the butler already that should have been the entire movie I would watch that movie please send help that said it’s at least a rare example of the male lead being the one deciding to give up his career and move back to his home town I think I might be losing my mind please help me
