by some margin the best Hallmark Christmas movie so far. Kristin Chenoweth is the lead. Kristin Chenoweth! She’s so much better than the material (obviously, she’s Kristin Chenoweth) but also the male lead is great, the romance is believable, and everyone acts like real, actual, grown up humans. The story goes in a direction that would have been a car crash in any other Hallmark Christmas movie but here they just nail it. Colour me shocked.
