very bad until the 40 minute mark, then a mix of very bad and (occasionally) entertainingly bonkers for the rest. The high points are pretty funny. The more frequent low points are quite awful. Kal Penn quit the Obama Administration to make this movie, which adds an air of tragedy. 52nd is kind.
